"At ZFL, we’re all united by our commitment to fulfilling each client’s goals — whether they’re going through a divorce, fighting for custody, or securing child support."

Meet Ridhika Kartan.

I believe in always putting my clients first. Looking back, helping others navigate challenging times has always been a common thread throughout my career, and my move to ZFL is no exception. After graduating from Case Western Reserve University with a BA in Political Science (2014), I transitioned into the social work field, where I spent 5 years becoming invested in building new beginnings for families and graduated from George Washington University with a MA in Forensic Psychology (2019).

In 2022, after earning my JD and Human Rights Certificate from The University of Connecticut School of Law, I was admitted to the Maryland Bar, and began practicing family law, driven by a desire to connect with my clients and make a tangible impact in their day-to-day lives. Today, I’m a proud member of Z Family Law, a firm that mirrors my own client-centric, compassionate approach. The truth is that people seeking family law services are often facing some of the darkest moments in their lives, and they need the guidance of a trusted team to help find the light waiting on the other side. At ZFL, we’re all united by our commitment to fulfilling each client’s goals — whether they’re going through a divorce, fighting for custody, or securing child support. As a dedicated attorney, I look forward to applying my unique perspective to every case and making a difference for every client.

Outside of work, chances are, you can find me crafting, embarking on an outdoor adventure, playing with my two cats, Moxxi and Zer0, or watching horror movies. Two fun facts about me: I’m classically trained in the Indian dance styles of Kathak and Bharatanatyam, and I’m an adrenaline junkie - I love the rush of sky diving and riding motorcycles!
