Meet Jessica Saunders.
Years ago, when I first began thinking about which professional path to pursue, I knew I was looking for two conditions in a career: the ability to practice law and the privilege of helping people. Guided by these pillars, I found my way into family law, a field that gives me the chance to be a trusted resource for clients during times of upheaval and uncertainty.
Throughout my experience to date, the common thread is helping others — from my communications internship at a DC-based nonprofit to my time working at an Affordable Housing Consulting company in Pennsylvania. Even my past studies reflect the same people-driven focus; I recently graduated from Temple University with a degree in Communications and Social Influence and Sociology.
As a Legal Assistant for Z Family Law, I support the firm’s experienced team of attorneys in our mission to help every client find their new beginning. Whether it’s conducting legal research, drafting documents, or anything in between, I love being part of a team where the needs and goals of our clients come first. At the end of the day, I’m incredibly proud to work for a woman-owned firm where so many diverse skill sets, stories, and backgrounds converge to inspire and empower each client to be the best possible version of themselves.
In my spare time, there’s a good chance you’ll find me playing with my dog, sampling new restaurants, or watching terrible reality TV shows whenever I need a laugh!
