Meet Florian Tabaku.

Hi, I’m Florian. 

With 15 years of experience, I represent individuals and families in divorce, custody, post-judgment modification, contempt and enforcement, and other family law cases, providing compassionate and strategic representation to every client I work with. 

Having represented clients in almost every county in the state throughout my career, I have deep knowledge of Maryland’s laws and statutes and understand the subtle differences between venues throughout the state – seemingly small details that can have a huge impact on the outcome of a client’s matter. 

I have been drawn to family law as a practice area for nearly as long as I’ve wanted to be a lawyer. Connecting with others who were going through it – hearing their stories and their struggles – was deeply motivating to me. I knew that, as an attorney, I could make a tangible difference in their lives; not just representing people in court, but also helping them create new beginnings that last long after their case files are closed. 

This philosophy underscores everything I do as a family lawyer, and along with my client-centered approach, earned me a spot on SuperLawyers’ Rising Stars list three years in a row. 

When I’m not advocating for my clients, you’ll find me spending time with my wife and my dog, Storm, playing soccer, trying new recipes, soaking up the sunshine, or reading. I have also enjoyed giving back by volunteering with organizations including the Special Olympics, and provided free legal guidance to self-represented litigants with the Montgomery County Pro Bono Legal Clinic and the Baltimore County Bar Association’s Lawyer in the Lobby program.
